Paulo GN Rubio has built a massive following with his extensive training and knowledge. This April, GN will tour two training facilities located in Manhattan NYC and Hazlet NJ. The training will focus on the K4 Knife Boxing Platform, and Functionalized Flow Drills based on the PTK system.
Day 1 – April 18th / 1PM – 7PM (Manhattan, NYC):
Knife Fighting: The Mental Game
This seminar focuses on advancing knife flow drills for real world applications by safely and progressively applying levels of resistance and decision making. Beyond memorization, our focus is in exploring how these drills can increase our defensive and counter-offensive capabilities with and against a knife.
- Exploring variations in range and intensity
- Using range to discover how timing and sensitivity can play a role in safely transitioning between detached positions into clinch and entangled engagements.
- Using intensity to discover which techniques remain robust and durable under both physical and mental pressure.
In this seminar we aim to deconstruct flow drills beyond fixed patterns into real world skills where perception, action and decision making reign supreme.

Day 2 – April 19th / 12pm – 4pm (Hazlet, NJ):
Grappling Concepts – All Levels
This seminar merges Grappling Concepts into the K4 Knife Boxing Platform
- Transitions from Long to Grappling Range
- Clinch work and knife deployment from attached positions
- Fundamental “Knife Fighting” Concepts
- Game-based grappling in a weapons-based context
The concepts covered in this seminar will reinforce and add to the material learned in Level 1 Snake and Dagger Instructor certification.
